Aruze Gaming America, Inc. announced today that it has appointed Steve Walther as Vice President, Systems Product Management.
"Mr. Walther brings a broad knowledge of global gaming systems and industry experience that will help us further achieve our strategic objectives." said Kent Young, General Manager of Aruze Gaming America, Inc.
Mr. Walther will be responsible for executing and achieving Aruze's strategic objectives for Aruze systems in global operations. His leadership and expertise will help Aruze introduce new and innovative systems products to the gaming industry.
"The ability to leverage my diverse experience with such a dynamic team and organization makes for an exciting opportunity. I look forward to participating in the growth and success of Aruze Gaming" said Mr. Walther.
In his prior role as the Head of Systems Product Office for Aristocrat, Steve lead the systems product management team’s activity for the company's Global System product line by ensuring the company delivered innovative and market-driven systems products. As Director, Systems Product Management, he was responsible for overseeing the marketing and product management of the OASIS Casino Management System in The Americas. He joined Aristocrat in January 2002 with extensive skills and experience in casino marketing, software development, project management, quality assurance, and organizational behavior.
Before joining Aristocrat, Steve served from 1999-2001 as Product Development and Quality Assurance Manager for Mpower Communications, a North American DSL and local exchange carrier. From 1995 to 1999 he served as Product Development and Quality Assurance Manager for Casino Data Systems (acquired by Aristocrat in 2001).
Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. He is also a Master Graduate of Rapport Leadership International.
