Aruze Gaming America, Inc. announced today that two new key management appointments governing Europe, Africa, Central and South America have been made. These new appointments will be an integral element of its strategies to drive for the position of ‘the leading international gaming supplier.’

Johan Stoop, current General Manager of Aruze Gaming Africa, will relocate to Aruze Gaming’s global headquarters located in Las Vegas in July this year as the newly appointed Vice President for the Central and South America regions. Mr. Stoop will be responsible for executing and achieving Aruze Gaming’s strategic objectives and the development of the Central and South American regions. With more than a decade of service in operational management, encompassing every facet of the South Africa operations, Mr. Stoop’s hands-on, versatile capabilities bode well for the competitive and trading regions that comprise his new portfolio. His extensive experience in operations and marketing will help us to strategically develop the Central and South American regions," said Kent Young, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Aruze Gaming America.

Mr. Stoop’s successor, Dries de la Rey, has been appointed as the new General Manager for Europe and Africa, subject to regulatory approval, and will assume responsibilities for Aruze Gaming’s South Africa offices, located in Johannesburg on 1 August 2009.

Dries brings extensive management, sales and marketing experience from the ICT and the gaming industry at large into his designated regions. As former Managing Director of iVolve Technologies, a leading ICT solutions provider serving the South African Market, and with further 10 years sales and marketing management tenures with Aristocrat Technologies and WMS Gaming, Dries is set to add considerable impetus to this dynamic gaming group’s drive for added global exposure and increased market share.
